Meet the Authors
Cornelia Jude
My name is Cornelia Jude. I am 43 years young. I have a total of 6 Children. Yes, I know what you’re thinking… How did I keep my body looking this good?! Well I only gave birth to 3 of them… and you try chasing 6 kids around all day! That will whip you into shape in no time! I was born and raised in Germany and moved to the United States in 1997. In 2003 I moved back to Germany, and then to Norway! In 2010 I became a U.S. citizen, and in 2013 moved back to the States, Williamsburg, Virginia (aka The Burg) to be exact. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel to a number of countries all across the world, where I learned that I am not defined by my past. The many places I traveled also taught me that ignorance comes in every shape, color and social status. I was diagnosed with PTSD in 1999 and have been fighting ever since not to end up as just another statistic! Time has taught me that I am different. We are all different! For the first time in my life I am embracing my past and looking forward to the future. For the first time in my life I am excited to get out of bed every morning; that’s a brand new feeling for me. Let’s just say God is so so so good! "My goal is to talk about how I turned my most painful memories into something positive. I want to talk about how me stepping into a church (which I knew would go up in flames, no worries the building is in great shape just like it was before I stepped into it) changed my life forever. I want to be as transparent as possible..." |
Chris Jones
I’m a full-time writer, author, ghostwriter, book writing and publishing coach, and podcast host. Though I have a degree in graphic design—which comes in handy!—I became a writer when a vacancy at the newspaper I worked for wasn’t filling. I asked for an opportunity to write, was given it, and here we are. I’ve since worked as a newspaper sports writer and sports editor, a managing editor, and an editor-in-chief at two magazines. I’ve written for several newspapers and magazines where I have interviewed celebrities and influencers. Among my favorites were HGTVs Sabrina Soto, Food Network’s Rachael Ray, Supernanny’s Jo Frost, and American Supernanny Deborah Tillman. I published my first book, The Art & Business of Writing: A Practical Guide to the Writing Life, in 2015 to help writers hone their writing skills, balance their author work-life, and learn ways to better write, promote, and sell their books. On my podcast, The Art & Business of Writing, I interview writers, bestselling authors, and creative professionals who influence the writing and publishing world. I live in Virginia with my wife, Elizabeth, and our children. When I’m not writing, I enjoy reading or listening to audiobooks, running, and visiting various art galleries. |
